![]() The Boston School Forest invites your family to… Earth Day 2008: A Birding Festival! Dear Families- The staff of the Boston School Forest are excited to invite you to another of our new series of "Leave No Family Inside" programs at the BSF! Celebrate Earth Day 2008 at the Boston School Forest: join us for a Birding Festival on April 22nd from 4:00 - 7:30 p.m. Activities between 4:00-7:00pm include games to play, including The Bird Olympics and The Great Migration Challenge. Local Audubon Society members will be available to lead hikes where you can view some of the early spring migrating birds. Sit a spell with Chick-a-Dee Charlie to get up-close with a few feathered friends! Make a bird feeder for your yard! At 7:00 p.m., join in a program to meet Archimedes a live Great Horned Owl and learn about these fascinating birds! The first 25 families to arrive will receive a reusable shopping bag with Earth Friendly supplies and information on where to go birding in our community. Please feel free to bring a picnic dinner for your family. Indoor and outdoor dining space is available. Some refreshments will be provided. This family program is free and open to all.
