The school lunch and breakfast prices for 2015-16 will be as fol­lows:

$2.15 daily/$10.75 weekly

Senior High Students

$1.30 daily/$6.50 weekly

Adults and Non-students

$2.45 daily/$12.25 weekly

$3.15 daily/$15.75 weekly

Breakfast is available at all schools.  Any student who qualifies for free or reduced lunches, will also qualify for free or reduced price breakfast.

Reduced price break­fast will remain at $.30 and reduced price lunches at $.40.

Milk will be .35 per carton or $30.00 per semester (due by September 11, 2015 for 1st semester and January 29, 2016 for 2nd semester) for those elementary students wishing to have milk for morning milk break.

A computerized accounting system is used at all schools in the district. Payments can be made on-line through Skyward Family Access at www.pointschools.net using the log-in provided by your school office.  You may put any sum of money on your child's account, and it will remain on that account until he/she eats lunch. When your child eats breakfast/lunch, the cost of one breakfast/lunch will be deducted from the computer account.  Your account must have a positive balance in order to serve lunches to your students.  All lunch accounts are family accounts. The district’s automated phone calling system will notify families several times each week when they have a low or negative account balance. If you would also like to receive email notifications you can sign up by going into your Family Access account; click Email Notifications and select Receive Notifications when Food Service Balance is under $3.00.

Secondary school students need to have a positive balance in order to use the account. If the account is negative, the student must have cash to buy a lunch or ala carte items.

The free and reduced meal application along with the instructions for completion can be obtained by clicking on the "Free/Reduced Application Form" link in the upper left-hand corner of this page.  Please read all information carefully before completing the application. 

PLEASE COMPLETE ONLY ONE APPLICATION FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY, LIST­ING ALL STUDENTS ON THAT APPLICATION, EVEN IF YOUR CHILDREN ATTEND DIFFERENT PUBLIC SCHOOLS WITHIN THE DISTRICT.

IF YOU HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED A DIRECT CERTIFICATION NOTICE FOR THE CURRENT SCHOOL YEAR YOU DO NOT HAVE TO FILL OUT AN APPLICATION.

Please complete all requested information on the application, sign it, and return to the school office or the Food Service Of­fice as soon as possible.  Incomplete applications will be re­turned and therefore take longer to process.  Your child will need to bring money for lunches until the application is completed and approved, unless he/she was receiving free or reduced lunches at the end of the last school year (those families must complete a new application by September 11, 2015).  You need to reapply for benefits at the beginning of each school year.

The Stevens Point Area Public School District will be participating in the Wisconsin School Day Milk Program.  This means that all students, Grades K‑5, who are eligible for free or reduced price meals, will also be eligible to receive free milk for milk break.  Any K-5 student who does not qualify to receive free milk through the Wisconsin School Day Milk Program will need to pay $30.00 per semester if they wish to have milk at break time.  Milk money is due by September 11, 2015, for the first semester and January 29, 2016 for second semester.
