The school board recognizes that advisory committees provide a method for public participation in educational planning and school operations.  Three general types of advisory committees, as determined by their membership, function in this district: citizen advisory committees, school advisory committees, and staff advisory committees.  Advisory committees may be established with the approval of the superintendent and the school board.
